Women have always had the right to choose, they can choose whether or not to have sex and with whom. Killing an unborn child is not a right, it is a grave trespass upon the right of life to the child. No amount of rhetoric changes that fact, it is an inconvenient truth. I try very hard not to judge those who have had abortions because our society does not make it easy for women to survive an illegitimate or unwanted pregnancy. When faced with rejection from family, friends and society it is understandable why so many women choose abortion. I pray that the day will come when things will be very different and every child will be valued and loved.
This Nation has blood on its hands. Is it any wonder that we as a nation, are in such a mess when we are doing what God hates, the shedding of innocent blood? The vehement pro abortion crowd are carrying out the enemy's M. O. which is to kill, steal and destroy (John 10 v 10). They have become blind to the horror of the process and act of aborting a baby. In the U.S. I heard of a group who were going into schools and showing the development of the baby in the womb. Seeing the baby's growth, even after a few weeks, is changing minds and attitudes. Is this happening in this country? I doubt it, if a prayer warrior can't even pray silently outside of a clinic without being carted off in a police van.
Calvin, let us also pray for the medics who are doing this procedure day in, day out, whose hearts have become calloused. May Holy Spirit convict and bring them to repentance and may they know His forgiveness.

Amen Fr. Calvin. I volunteer at a Pregnancy Care Center in South Carolina. It’s a holy place that helps mothers, grandmothers, fathers, and the homeless. Some days are hard. The women in charge are fighting the good fight. They start the day with one hour of prayer. I would not miss that hour for anything. I pray for you daily when I pray for my Anglican priests. I’m in the ACNA.
