Christ is the King of Kings.

One God, one Christ, whose religion, may not be divided by Kings.

If our Charles rex, wishes to be a true king. He must defend our faith. In the name of the Father the son and Holy wraith. For if, he is truly a king as sanctioned by God. He will first and foremost, defend the Christian faith, and Christ the son of God.

A king, that cannot defend the faith, protect the weak, and feed and house the poor. Hath no rights, to be a a British king anymore. For it is a oath sworn to Christ, that our king, defend our faith. That he protect the weak, and feed, and house the poor.

We hath no need, of one with woke virtues.

It is paramount, that foremost, our King hath Christian virtues.

We must, not allow Christian society, to be,sidelined, for woke impropriety.

A king with helicopters, private planes and super yachts. That would lecture, and spite the have nots. One that would drink champagne, eat venison steak, and caviar. Then expect the poor to eat insects and have no car.

If he continues with, the great reset.

Our Christian society, will only have regret.

Then God save us.

Florentius.

Succinctly said, Father Calvin. We have become a lost society since the Advent of our sensitivity; not wanting to be offended or offend. A mistake is now considered to be a crime and offensive.

Thank you for always standing by the truth.

Well Said- Fr. Robinson. We need a return to the Bible- and it seems like a global need that is growing rapidly.

And in their warped minds the Koran is not?

If the Bible, or at least parts of it, are seen as inappropriate - then surely that would apply even more so to the scriptures of some other religions such as the Quran & hadiths (of Islam). And so what if some people may be offended by parts of the Bible - it's certainly not a crime or illegal to offend someone, & these days some people can be very easily offended. If those people were to pursue a legal case each & every time someone offended them, the law courts could very easily become clogged up with such cases & court hearing dates would really blow out.

These days with all the censoring/blocking/banning/cancelling that takes place on social media sites, it's often difficult to be able to express Christian religious beliefs without being cancelled, & about the only place one can now be free to express such religious beliefs is actually out on the streets, with street preaching. But it seems that even that right is now sometimes being eroded, with authorities fearing that such preachers will "cause offence" to some passers by.

We are constantly told to "be kind" & "be mindful", which is often interpretted to mean "don't offend anyone with anything you say/write/do". But if we were to actually do that, our freedom of speech/religion etc would be severely curtailed, because many people believe that means one cannot talk about "sensitive" things such as religious beliefs, politics etc. However, the Bible commands Christians to go into all the world & preach the Gospel. How can Christians do that, if they can neither express their views on social media, nor preach in the streets?

The country claims to have freedom of speech & freedom of religion - yet in many cases it appears not to tolerate the beliefs of its main religion - Christianity. And how hypocritical is it of the University of Brighton to tell its staff to "avoid the word Christmas" (presumably for fear of causing offence to non-Christians) - when it so openly itself makes posts wishing Jews Happy Hannukah & Happy Purim, & Happy Eid to Muslims. Do they not stop to think that many Christians, or those of other religions, may be offended by such good wishes?

It's ironic that in a predominantly & traditionally Christian country, Christianity seems to have become the only religion that is not acknowledged or allowed. What is the country coming to?

I usually watched the Queen’s Christmas message, she always referred to her faith in Jesus Christ. I think I’ll just concentrate on reading the Christmas story that day now and the entire Bible the rest of the year.

From here in Canada the UK is almost unrecognizable. The economy seems to be in shambles, energy policies hard to comprehend, and the traditional culture of the place disrespected.

GB News reports that a certain new royal thought about commuting suicide. Good thing she wasn’t living here in Canada when she had those thoughts. The federal government under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau would have encouraged her to do just that… as they encourage our veterans and others to do through the MAID program.

Perhaps a revival is at hand. People are waking up to what is important, that God provides a point of focus and truth for a world that has lost its way. John the Baptist’s message was spot on. Street preaching is a powerful thing. Not because of a personality who feels called to do that, but because of the power of the spoken Word of God. I’m encouraged to see younger people involved in “promoting God’s praise” like Calvin Robinson.

Psalm 2 seems to identify a recurring theme between man and God. “Why are the nations in an uproar and the peoples devising a vain thing… against the Lord and His Anointed?” I’m praying for courage.

What are "heteronormative lifestyles"?

Let's not use such strange words to describe normal family living.

Thank you Father. I'm 51 and so blessed to have found God about 18 months or so ago, Baptised 12 months almost to the day. I'm so proud to be a Christian and am ready to take this fight to the forces of evil which seem to have crept into so many places of society.

Fr C: Well said. Should a CPS official have said that about the Koran we can imagine the hoo-ha - including their being disciplined and possible dismissal (not that I would condone it). CPS shou;d - if they haven't - apologise, as they would to other faiths (meaningless as it would be). It was deeply foolish. Modern culture in the public arena is fraught with contradiction and hypocrisy, this being but one example.

The Bible and its revelation is indeed scandalous - just as intended by its human and Divine agents. Perhaps the nonsense that you describe is an occasion for Xtian exposition - as you are doing - on why this is so and why the instant case exemplifies rich, multi-layered irony.

Let us hope King Charles dumps the dross of political correctness he toys with (with William, now), if only because he learns from the likes of 'Fulani-gate' that it's a double-edged sword. Wealth, power (of sorts) and commonwealth don't sit easily with some of the notions he has more recently espoused (nor the ecomania more longstanding) and which are not expected - nor supported, I think - by the majority of his subjects. Queen Elizabeth trod the careful line of non-association with socio-political movements, which served her extremely well. He would be well advised to follow suit. If palace advisers disagree they are uselessly detached from reality and need dumping (like not a few MPs and civil serpents).

Warm wishes and blessings to you and your readers, Fr Marcus

What exactly did the CPS (judges I assume) take their oath of office with? What is used to swear in witnesses in a court of law? Without a collective belief in a higher power (each to his own), the entire judicial system is in jeopardy. If not a Bible (for those of us who believe) what instrument would be used to vouchsafe testimony?

The direction of travel is very worrying with what has become known as woke being all pervasive in society. All your words ring true and we should not lose sight of the fact we are a Christian country. Keep up the good work.

This is fantastically written and so terribly true!

My only nitpick would be that men are pushed to be feminine but women are being pushed to go masculine with the facade of deeming it modern femininity.

That said, this piece is really too accurate about the present. Growing up, my conservative Catholic father would always be very subtle when praying in public (like before eating at a restaurant) and I never really understood before why he was being small about it. America (my country) is one of freedom, others pray in all sorts of ways very loudly and obviously! He always told me it was to not stir up trouble.

Only recently have I realized what he meant and have caught myself hesitant to pray at all when in public but not a strictly Catholic or even just Christian place.

My favorite place is a local lake, I have prayed my rosary there a few times, but even when I did I was terribly nervous and felt odd and as if all were silently criticizing me more than normal.

Praying we all can pull it together again!

I have known too many who have gotten lost, I did myself for a decade too. Many new age pagans and "atheists" are more anti-christian than they are what they claim to actually be. It is tragic but quite telling.

Thank you for speaking up and being a beacon!

God bless

Well-put, as usual. Sometimes I picture the American framers working on the Bill of Rights, "And they can believe what they want without the government caring, right?" "Of course!" "Even the papists??" "Even the papists, or whoever comes over from Europe next." "But surely this doesn't have to be said?" "Better put it in there just in case." (What overly-active imagination? o.o;;;)
